Q.What does my photograph have to be like for you to draw my portrait from?A. The Actual face(s) on the photograph need to be approx 5" in length. No use of flash is preferred to gain a good sense of lights and darks. The picture must be in focus. THE PORTRAITS QUALITY WILL BE AN EXACT REPRODUCTION OF THE PHOTOGRAPH PROVIDED.Enusre the photo of the individual(s) really has a good likeness of them.
Q. How long will it take for you to complete my portrait?
A. This is dependant on the amount of work I currently have pending for completion. I ll provide you with an estimate before I start the work but this is normally around a 2 week time period for a single subject portrait.Obviously it will take longer if your portrait includes more than one subject.
Q. Can you draw any portrait such as pets etc?
A. I can draw whatever I can see,please just follow the photo guidelines above.
Q. Can you draw a group portrait?
A. I can draw more than one face on the photograph you provide or you can provide multiple pictures and I will draw the subjects together. THE CHARGE WILL INCREASE DEPENDING UPON HOW MANY SUBJECTS YOU WANT ME TO DRAW (please see my how to order section on this website).
Q. Will my portrait come framed?
A. No, sorry i do not provide frames.
Q. Are there any delivery charges?
A. No, there are no postal charges you just pay the standard amount stated within the prices list.
Q. How do I send my photograph to you?
A. If the picture is in digital form you can send it to me by e-mail address mirrorimageportraits1@yahoo.co.uk as an attachment. You can also send it by post to the forwarding address. You will have the address once you have paid for your portrait from the paypal page.
Q. How do I know that the photograph I send you is suitable enough for you to draw from?
A. If you send me the photograph by e-mail I will confirm within 12 hours that i am good to go ahead. If you send me the photograph by post I can call using the contact number you supply. But the rule of thumb is to please ensure the photo meets the preferences I have stated to save time and dissapointment.
Q. What happens to the photographs that I send to you by post?
A. I will send them back with the finished portrait.
Q. What if I do not like my portrait?
A. A scanned copy of the photograph will be sent to you before payment by e-mail to avoid any dissapointment, even though I have never had a dissapointed customer, there's alway a first, I just want to get things right.
Q. What about my portrait being displayed on your web site?
A. THIS IS AT YOUR DISCRETION. Please inform me if you wish your portrait not to be displayed. This can be done when you send me your photograph by e-mail or post.
Q. How do you post and pack my finished portrait?
A. Your finished portrait is kept flat at all times and sent by recorded first class delivery to your address.
